Big browns have been a common theme!

\

So hopper fishing has been good. We had some excellent fishing on the Mo' and the Bitterroot has been very good as well. The tricos have been spotty but the lower river should be going hard this week. I have concocted a new hopper that seems to be rocking it a bit harder than other patterns. Of course, I will not even begin to describe it. It was responsible for 7 brownies over 20 this past week. You'll just have to book a trip to see this new bug.
We are booking a bit for next season already. It is a good indication that what we are doing is working. The feedback from our new clients this year has been great. TJ and Wilcox have been doing their jobs and doing it well, and my deep thanks to both of those dudes for their hard work and committment to good guiding.
We shot the Wildside Adventures for two days a bit ago. Joe Rossi is a great guy and I think he enjoyed our fishing. During his visit we had a knockout day on Georgetown and a good streamer day on the Blackfoot. We survivied a massive hail storm and caught up with a blond-phase black bear. The episodes will air on FSN Pittsburgh in late 2011. We are already planning his next Wildside Adventure for next year.
I added a couple of pics from this week including a nice one that I cought. My thanks to Barrett Downs for sharing the rowing. It is so nice when our clients become close friends. The pike photo of Syd is pretty cool, too. She loves fish and I cannot wait to row her down the river!. E
